The Wangapeka. — A " Brighton Miner," writing to the Charleston Herald a description of a trip from Nelson to .* Wangapeka, says '.-.— At present the so-called dispute between the purchasers of land and those who have pegged out the ground seems tb have suspended/ all operations;: if, instead ofl disputing about the ground that has been sold (much of which is entirely off the apparent reef), the bona fideminers would look out for themselves, it iff likely that equally as rich, if riot richer, quartz would be struck than that opened out in Culliford's claim. Mr. Broad went up to the reef at five in the morning after, his arrival j bn his return - he met the men at their encampment, and pointed out to them the absurdity of interfering with the survey, and that until it was; done it was impossible to say to what, extent, if any, the purchased ground would interfere with thatclaimedby those who bad subsequently pegged the ground off.
