It is reported that a Spanish war vessel fired into and sunk a British brig off Cuba. A telegram from London dated 23rd of May, states that O'Sullivan has been reelected Mayor of Cork. Prince Augustus is a candidate for the Spanish throne. Topete has been made Spanish Minister for the Colonies. The Cuban revolution continues. The Royal Canadian Bank at Toronto has stopped. The San Francisco market for breadstuffs is firmer. Flour is quoted at 4 dols. to 4.25c; wheat, at 1.25c. to 1.45c; oats, at 1.35c. to 1.70c.
