APPROACHES To CHRIST CHURCH.

To the Editor of the Nelson Evesing Mail. Sir — I write to ask you whether some railings or protection could not be placed along the edge of the ceutre approach to j Christ Church, at a small expense j and also whose business it would be to erect the same? In. the opinion of many, the ' present raised path is dangerous, particularly to strange attendants at the Church; : only last Sunday I took a visitor to this town to hear our Bishop preach, and when we were coming out, as I had forgotten to warn him of the narrow descent and steep fall on his right haud, he suddenly disappeared, and rose with an injured ankle, having fallen down between two and three | feet. Could uot something be done to remedy this evil? Yours, &c, ! Abraham Waccket.
