Mr. George Cotterell's Entertainment. — Id tbe event of the weather proving unfavorable, Mr. Cotterell, we understand, purposes to put off his entertainment at Richmond until Friday evening. We hear that a large party of ladies and gentlemen who have witnessed and been delighted with Mr Cotterell's performances in town intend going out to Richmond on the evening of the entertainment, when certain of our leading amateur vocalists have promised to give their assistance. Drunk ane Disorderly. —At the Resident Magistrate's Court this morning, William Hill, charged with being drank and disorderly, was fined £1 and costs. Pheasant Shooting. — We understand that the Lady Barkly is to be laid on for a special trip to Motueka on Wednesday next, Ist July, to enable our sportsmen to get over to the land of game. What with special steamers and powder warranted to shoot straight, the coming season is likely to prove a disastrous one for the birds.
