H.M S. Galatea. — The Galatea, with the Duke of Edinburgh onboard, sailed from Wellington for Auckland at half-past two this afternoon. Inspection Parade.— rAn advertisement which appears in another column notifies to tne City Companies ot Volunteers that the Inspection Parade, usually held'on the first Tuesday in the month, is postponed to the 24th inst., being Her Majesty's Birthday. Thb Rev. Mr Vickers, the new Wesieyan minister, preached twice on Sunday last at Blenheim to large appreciative congregations. There is a large field here for a useful man, and from what we know of .the gentleman in question, we believe he will he the right man in the right place. — Marlborough Express.
