Caution. — We are-irequested to caution our readers with respect to a man who for the last few days has been prowling about the Wood and the Waiinea-road, following little girls on their way home from school, and waylaying and annoying them in the more unfrequented parts of the town. The man is of short stature, with light beard and whiskers, and usually wears mole- [ skin trousers and a Crimean shirt. The police, we are informed, have their eye on him, but we, nevertheless, think it right to warn our readers against allowing young girls to walk about unprotected.
