Among the many presents received hy the Prince as mementos of his second visit to Victoria, one has, we learn, afforded him much pleasure. It was a case of stuffed specimens of game birds, forming a complete series of Victorian quail. This was the gift of Mr T. Grimwood, of sporting fame, who himself shot the birds which formed the collection. Accompanying the case was a curious old brass blunderbuss, a relic of the Irish Rebellion of 1798, avhich figured at the pigeon shooting matches got np for the Prince, and which His Royal Highness expressed a strong desire to possess, — Weekly News. The small-pox has not yet been stamped out of Melbourne and its suburbs. The papers report two or three cases that have recently terminated fatally. — Ibid.
