The s.s. Rangitira, Captain Seymour, left Onehunga on Friday morning last, at 5 o'clock, arrived off Taranaki 10 p.m., landed mails and passengers, and left same night, arriving off Nelson lighthouse at 7 p.m. on Saturday. She brings about 150 passengers for this port. The brig Gazelle, Williams, master, left Newcastle on the 24th ult,, experienced fine weatner, and anchored in Nelson harbor at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon; sighted the Amateur on Saturday last, about 10 miles north of the Spit. She brings a cargo of coals consigned to Messrs N. Edwards and Co. The s.s. Murray, Captain Macgillivary, left Hokitikaon the 4thinst., at. 1 p.m., arrived at the Grey at 4 o'clock same day; left Grey mouth at' 5.30 a.m. on the 6th, arrived at the Buller at at 2 p.m., and left the. same day at 5 p.m. for Nelson, flrriving'at3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She brings five saloon and 15 steerage passengers for this -port.
