By the Eangitoto which came to port yesterday morniug, we are in possession of both the Panama and Suez mails, a portion of that which should have been sent by the former, having come by the later route. We are somewhat surprised that commercial men in England adopted this course, as they surely ought to have known, that at least one more mail via Panama, would be dispatched, and their -correspondents here should have had the benefit of the time. In wool there is evidently an upward tendency but the market is unsettled, and solvent firms are afraid to invest largely.
