This will also be occasion for celebrating the TWENTY-SEVENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PROVINCE. The Members of COURT ROBIN HOOD will celebrate their SIXTH ANNIVERSARY by a Day of Recreation and Amusement, in which they also invite the co-operation of kindred societies and the public generally. OLD ENGLISH SPORTS will be provided, consisting of Donkey Races, Jumping in Sacks, Jingling Matches, Wheelbarrow Races, Foot Races, Quoits^ Aunt Sally, &c, &c. SPORTS FOR CHILDREN will be provided, and Prizes for the same Distributed. A COLD COLLATION, provided by Mr Everett, to "be presided over by his Honor the SUPERINTENDENT, will be provided at halfpast 12 o'clock precisely, in a spacious Booth built expressly for the occasion. Tickets, 3s. 6d. each. A very excellent TEA will also be provided by Mr Johns, in the Booth, at 5 o'clock ; tickets for which will be, for adults, is. 6d.; for children, Is. The NELSON BRASS BAND has been especially engaged for this occasion, and will play in the open air during the day. A SPACIOUS DANCING-ROOM will also be provided, at which the above Band will perform.
