Just before leaving Sydney, three of the officers were married to N.S.W. ladies, who will probably proceed to England by mail steamer, and so be ready to welcome their husbands on their arrival at Plymouth. She has beefi. relieved by the six gun rambowed corvette Blanche. The Postmaster-General of N.S.W. detained the Kaikoura a few hours in order to afford merchants and others at Sydney the opportunity of replying to correspondence which they had received by the Suez mail. The Queeu left for Switzerland on the sth of August, and reached Paris on the morning of the 6tb, where she passed the remainder of the day, and left in the evening. She arrived at Lucerne on the 7th, much fatigued with the journey. Her Majesty, it is understood, will remain in Switzerland till the first week in September. She is travelling incog, as the Countess of Kent, attended by Lord Stanley, Her health was improved. AVtragkal event occurred on the Paris Boulevards on July 10.
