The Princess of Wales has given birth to another princess. President Johnson has issued a proclamation pardoning the Southern rebels. Mr Pope Hennessy is not to be Governor of South Australia. Some think Mr Eyre will receive the appointment. The Irish Church Appointments Suspension Bill has been thrown out by the Lords, after three days debate, by a majority of 182 to 97.
