It may be in the memory of our readers that during the last session of the Provincial Council, reference was made by more than one hon. member to the efficiency of Mr Enoch Chambers's hydraulic stone breaking machines, for the purposes of road making. The Argus states that the municipal corporation of Bombay have ordered six of these machines, for the purpose of breaking stones for the roads of the municipality. It must be highly satisfactory as well to the Victorians, as to the inventor, to learn that Melbourne is exporting machinery to India,
