-The police received information yesterday morning that a human body was floating near high water mark, off the cattle landing at Kohimarama. The Water Police, in their boat, at once proceeded to bring up the body last night. There is very little doubt that the body will prove to be that of Mr Morrison, who was lost overboard from the Tauranga a short time ago, off the North Head. An inquest will be held to-day, should the remains be brought up in time, and in such case the funeral will be to-morrow. Since writing the above, the police boat has returned with the body, which has been identified by Mr L. M'Leod as that of Mr Morrison. The body has been placed in the dead house.'' — N. Z.
