Hospital, Nelson, June 5, 1868. /"IpENDERS will be received at the Hospital, JL untill THURSDAY, the 25th instant, Jfrom persons desirous of CONTRACTING to SUPPLY the undermentioned ARTICLES, for the six months ending 31st December next, to the HOSPITAL, namely : — I.— MUTTON, BEEF, and LAMB, fresh, and of the very best quality, at per lb. Suet „ 2.— POULTRY, of best qualiity each. 3.— BREAD, best quality ... at per lb. Ditto, wheaten ... ... „ Flour, fine atpercwt. Ditto, seconds „ 4. — MILK at per quart. S.— TEA atperlb. Coffee „ Chocolate „ Sugar „ Corn Flour „ Oatmeal „ Arrowroot „ Sago „ Tapioca M Rice „ Pearl Barley „ Best Groats „ Linseed Meal „ Butter (fresh) „ Butter (salt) „ Mustard „ Pepper „ „ (ground) „ Salt (fine) „ „ (coarse) „ Mixed Spices ... ... „ Soap .. „ Soda (washing) „ Starch „ Blue „ Candles (sperm) „ „ (mould) „ Whiting „ Potatoes atpercwt. Tobacco atperlb. Eggs at per dozen Vinegar at per quart Wick ... at per ounce. Matches (vestas) at per box, of 100 and 500 each. Samples will be required to be left at the Hospital with the tenders. Articles to be delivered as required, at the Hospital. Separate tenders will be received as numbered. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
