SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Office, until WEDNESDAY, 17th June instant, from persons desirous of CONTRACTING to SUPPLY the undermentioned ARTICLES, for the six months ending the 31st December next, to the LUNATIC ASYLUM, GAOL, LOCK-UP, and DESTITUTE POOR, namely : I.— MUTTON and BEEF, fresh and free from bone at per lb. Suet „ Mutton to be supplied br the Quarter when required, hind and fore quarter alternately. 2. — BREAD, best at per lb. Ditto, of Wheaten Meal .„. „ • Flour, fine ... ... „ Ditto, ditto at per cwt. 3.— SPIRITS, Wines, Bottled Ale and Porter, and Colonial Ale 4.— RATIONS, as per scaleTea atperlb. Coffee ... r „ Chocolate „ Sugar ... ... ... „ Corn Flour *. ... „ Oatmeal ... „ Arrowroot „ Sago .. . ... „ Pearl Barley „ Rice „ Linseed Meal „ Butter (fresh) ... ... „ Butter (salt) ... . „ Mustard „ Pepper „ „ (ground) „ Salt (fine) ... „ „ (coarse) ... ... „ Soap „ Candles (sperm) „ „ (mould) „ Whiting „ Potatoes „ Tobacco „ Eggs at per dozen Vinegar at per quart Wick ... at. per dozen Matches (vestas) at per box. Samples will be required to be left at the office with the tenders. Articles to be delivered as required, at the Lunatic Asylum, Gaol, and Asylum for Poor.
