A Wellington telegram furnishes intelligence, which is especially important at the present moment, in relation to the Dry Dock question, — that the Consolidation Acts have received tbe Boyal Assent; and also that Mr Fitzherbert had obtained an advance of £459,000 on short-dated debentures, at 4 per cent., to pay off New Zealand Bank Securities a 7 per cent, before maturity.
