But no Lease will be issued until the applicants shall have satisfied the Board that they are in possession of a sufficient capital to enable them to lay down a Railway from the Mine to the Port at Cobden, and to ensure also the working of the Mine in a manner commensurate with its importance. Applications must be accompanied by the deposit of one shilling per acre, as required by the 63rd Section of ' The Nelson Waste Lands' Act, 1863,' amounting in this case to Sixty -four Pounds (£64).
