BRUNNER COAL MINE, ON THE RIVER GREY. Crown Lands Office, Nelson, May 5,1868 NOTICE is hereby given, that the Waste Lands Board is prepared to RECEIVE APPLICATIONS for a LEASE of the above Mine. But no Lease will be issued until the applicants shall have satisfied the Board that they are in possession of a sufficient capital to enable them to lay down a Railway from the Mine to the Port at Cobden, and to ensure also the working of the Mine in a manner commensurate with its importance. Applications must be accompanied by the deposit of one shilling per acre, -as required by the 63rd Section of < The Nelson Waste Lands' Act, 1863,' amounting in this case to Sixty-four Pounds (£64).
