TELEGRAPHIC INTELLIGENCE.
Wellington, March 19, 2.22 p.m. A telegram, received to-day, says that the Port of Otago has been officially declared free to whaling vessels requiring repairs. The Provincial Government have submitted a scheme for the establishment of a College at Dunedin, and propose toendow two Chairs, one to be Presbyterian.
