SIR— Anticipating that his ROYAL HIGHNESS the DUKE of EDINBURGH will pay Nelson a visit during his sojourn in New Zealand, and deeming it desirable that we should be pre- I pared to give his Royal Highness a suitable reception, we beg to urge on your Honor the propriety of calling a Public Meeting to consider the subject, so that steps may be taken to learn from the Colonial Government the plan agreed upon for enabling his Royal Highness to see the chief places of interest in the colony.
