" I have to state my distinct opinion, tbat much of the mutton consumed in Nelson is unwhole-Somej'-imthe sense of being almost destitute of the ragiiisite' elements of nutrition." •'-'Dr. 1 Cusack makes the following observations regarding the meat supplied by the Nelson Meat Bazaar : — " To-those'who can afford it, it is generally possible to- obtain good meat; but to working men, "tbHvhbni ld. or 2d. -a pound is a large consideration,- the- importation of cattle has, in my opinion, ( been;a great boon.
