THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified for general information, that on and after the Ist day of September next, the undermentioned RATES of PILOTAGE will be charged at the PORT of NELSON, instead of the Kates specified in the Notice dated Bth August, 18G5, and published in the Nelson Government Gazette, No. 24, of the 1 lth August, 1865. ALFRED GREENFIELD, Provincial Secretary. RATES OF PILOTAGE. Steamers. Not exceeding 5 > tons, 4d. per ton on 50 tons. From 50 to 150 tons, 4d. per ton. From 150 to 250 tons, 4d. per ton, on 150 tons, and 2^d. per ton on excess over 150 tons. From 250 to 400 tons, 3|d. per ton on 250 tons, and 2cl. per ton excess over 250 tons. Exceeding 400 tons, 3d. per ton on 400 tons, and lid. per ton on excess over 400 tons. Steam vessels entering the harbor more than once during any calendar month, to pay half the above rates each time of entrance and departure after the first. Sailing Vessels. From ... 50 to 200 tons, 4d. per ton. ... 200 „ 400 „ sd. „ Exceeding 400 6d. „ „ Vessels towed into Harbor by steamer shall be entitled to a reduction of orie fourth from the above rates. Harbor Mastek's Fees. For the removal of any steamer or sailing vessel from one anchorage to another, or from one wharf or part of a wharf to another wharf or part of a wharf, one penny per ton, from 50 to 250 tons; and one half-penny per ton from 250 tons and upwards. 2595 Superintendent's Office, Nelson, July 27, 1567. mHE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be JL notified, that the Voters of the Districts of Motupipi and Takaka having neglected or omitte:i to elect the required number of persons to fill up the vacancies in the Local Committees of Education for those districts, he has, in accordance with the provisions of the 10th section of the Education xVct 1863, appointed the undermentioned persons MEMBERS of the LOCAL COMMITTEE of EDUCATION of those Districts respectively, viz. — For the District of Motupipi — Samuel G. Superintendent's Office, Nelson^ July 27, 1867. mHE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be JL notified that Charles Hunter Brows', Esq., John Wallts Barnicoat, Esq., and David Rough, Esq., have been appointed a COMMITTEE for the MANAGEMENT of the NELSON HOSPITAL, in accordance with the provisions of the Nelson Hospital Act 1559. IN accordance with the provisions of the 2nd and 3rd Sections of '-the Public Cemetries Act, 1859," the SUPERINTENDENT has been pleased to appoint the undermenlioned Gentlemen TRUSTEES for the MANAGEMENT of the NELSON PUBLIC CEMETERY, viz.:— George Williams, William C.
