New Zealand- Methodists will be glad to learn that their American brethren are engaged in collecting funds for centenary celebrations, and over 3,800,000 dollars ;have already been subscribed. A Mr. Drew, pf 'New York, has given, half a million dollars, a Mr. Baldwin, of Ohio, 300,000, ■and others fr0m. 25,000 to 75,000. This ■equals, if it does not exceed, the liberality of' the English /Methodists in the centenary celebration of 1839.
