TAMES STURT wishes to inform the people of O Nelson, and neighborhood, that he has overcome the difficulty as regards the £50 fine, 'enforced upon him by the Magistrate, for having a stand at the last Races, by his Excellency the Governor having remitted £45 of the penalty ; and also to express his gratitude to the public for their kind assistance in the matter. Although the fine is reduced to £5, yet through loss of time, law expenses, and other items, the total loss will amount to £20 ; which is a great drawback to a poor man who wishes to pay his way, and one who is living under a high rent and dull times. 2304 TEN SHILLINGS REWARD, T OST, a liver-color RETRIEVER DOG, with JLJ White Breast and White Forepaws.
