The following lighthouse dues are to be paid in future in respect of all vessels trading to the West Coast of the Middle Island of New Zealand, viz. : — 1. Sailing vessels from beyond the colony of New Zealand, coming from any port to the eastward of New Zealand, per register ton 6d. 2. Steam vessels, not coasters, from beyond the colony of New Zealand, coming from any port, to the eastward of New Zealand, per register ton 4d. 3. Every steamer or -sailing vessel employed in. the.- coasting trade, from any port in Stewart Island, or the Middle .Island, to. the eastward of. Solan der Island on the south, '"and Separation Point on the north, :>r from any point on the East Coast of ihe North Island, from Kapiti Island ou the. south, to Auckland on the north, per register ton, Id. Provided that any such coasting vessel, or vessel from beyond sf-^a, calling at more than one port on the V7e3t . Coast," on the "same voyage, 'shall wily be charged light dues at the first port.
