In connection with the wakes held annually at __ate's-hill near Dudley, themostnovel ■" bill of fare" was issued by the proprietor •of an inn situate in the high-street of that locality, in which, in addition to other •attractions, George Smith the executioner, was announced tq the chair at the harmonic meeting to be held in the evening. Twin male Albinos have been born at the Hotel Dieu Paris — an unusual event, and one- which excites considerable curiosity in the scientific world. Very few Albinos are met with in France, and these babies have created quite a sensation. One of the principal characteristics of Albinism is the whiteness of the hair, in addition to which Is remarked the dull white colour of the skin, and a sort of affection of the eyes, cannot bear the full light of day.
