On ancfVfter Ist- January, 18(57, the postage chargeable on letters and neAvspapers, for places •within New Zealand, will be at the following rates, viz.:' — Toaviv Letters— Posted at ahy post-office Avithin the. colony, for delivery at such post-office — Rot exeeeding Joz .... Id. • Over £oz but uiider 1 e>z ... ... 2d. -• Every additional oz. or fraction of 0z... ' id. Country Letters — Posted at any pus! -office within the' "colony, for delivery at «ny other post-office Avithin the '.same province — . . .Not exceeding §' oz 2d. Over 4 ( >z ''at under loz ... ... 4d. Every additional oz or fraction of 0z... 4d. Interprovincial Letters — Posted at any post-office within ihe colon}', fbr delivery at any pobi-oflice in any oilier province wil bin the colony — ' Rot exceeding A oz 3d. Over 4 oz but under 1 oz (id. Every additional oz or fraction of 0z... Gd. Newspapers— On all neAvspapers posted Avithin the colony, for delivery ah thin tne colony, Id.
