Joseph Shepherd, Esq., has been gazetted Justice of the Peace for the Province of Nelson. J. T. Catley, Esq., has been appointed as Receiver of Laud Revenue for the Province of Nelson. The Hon. Major Richardson has beeu. .appointed Inspector of the Volunteer Force.
