She Avas to sail for Nelson, via tlie Grey and Buller this day. The Kennedy left the Grey on the 20th ult., but had to lay to in a heavy gale, and returned, re-enter-ing the river in safety, and Avaiting till the weather cleared up. She sailed from the Grey yesterday morning for the Buller and Nelson. The Auckland put back to Nelson at 3 p.m. on Tuesday from Hokitika, in consequence of bad Aveather. ,On the 30th ult. there Avas a furious gale, Avith tremendous sea. On the 2nd ult. the Lioness succeeded in crossing the bar Avhen the passengers . were transhipped, but no cargo. Havim*; received 20 passengers for Melbourne the Auckland returned to Nelson.
