Melbourne, March 21. ' Export entries were passed at the Customs to-day on 2 ozs. of gold per Golden Sea, for London. Business in the import market continues to be characterised with considerable want of spirit, transactions of other than a mere trade nature being the exception. A parcel of grainy counter Mauritius sugars were placed at £41. Maize has further advanced in value, having realised 5s at auction. Oilmen's stores and provisions are in good demand at remunerative rates. The cargo of flour ex Torquil, from Valparaiso, was almost entirely quitted in the auction mart at £16 to £16 8s per ton ; while the wheat by the same vessel, about 10,000 bushels, has found a purchaser on private terms. — M.
