Arrival in Sydney of Dunn the Bushranger. —This unfortunate man, who has earned for himself such, unenviable notoriety, arrived at the Newton railway station at half-past two o'clock on Saturday afternoon, having been brought down from Penrith in charge of Superintendent Lydiard and a constable. As it was prettry generally known in Sydney that Dunn had left Bathurst, on Thursday morn'ng with the escort, it was supposed he would arrive in' Sydney on Fiiday, and great numbers of people assembled at the Redfern Station to meet both the morning and evening trains from Penrith, with the expectation of seeing him ; but they were disappointed, as Captain M'Lerie had deemed it prudent not to make an exhi-: bition of the man. He was met at Newtown, by Captain M'Lerie and-Mr. Fosberry with a cab. —S;--M. Herald, February 6.
