Edwards and Co., Trafalgar-street, on WEDNESDAY, March 14, at Eleven o'clock, a laro-e and splendid assortment of superior MARBLE, AGATE, and ALABASTER STATUARY, as follows, viz. : — Rich and elaborately-carved Bardiglis Marble, Agate, Yellow Sienna, Veute, Antique, and Brocatello Vases, in various styles, as the Hebe, Etruscan, Medicis, Grecian, Gothic, Florentine, Neapolitan, Pompeii, and Hcrculaneum designs, splendidly carred in Alto-relievo and Basso-re-lievo, suitable" for the decoration of Entrance Halls, Drawing-rooms, Mantelpieces, Libraries, etc., etc. Openwork Vases for flowers, Vestal Temples, rich profusion of carved Tazzas, Urns, Card Receivers, ornamented with grapes and vine leaves; also elaborately handled Card Baskets, carved out of solid marble ; Fountains, Pedestals, Baskets with relievo figures. Watch Cases, inlaid Jewel Cases, Boxes, Marble Lions, Candlesticks, Groups, Animals, and a large variety of similar articles of a descriptive and useful character. STATUARY OF CARRARA MARBLE, EA.CII FIGURE FOTJE FEET HIGH. Alabaster and Marble Statuary, consisting of Venus of Canova, Cleopatra by Bartolini, Hebe of Canova, Orfannella by Lindi, Jafib Diana, Fisher Boy, Apollo, Giardiniera, Cupid and Psyche, Venus in shell, Three Graces after Canova, Madonna of Fenerani, the Prayer of Pamfratcni, Group of Fidelity, Busts of Dante, Petrarch, Metastasi, and Tasso, and other classical figures, etc., etc., etc. The above goods have been selected with great care by Signori G. Del Colombo and L. Veroli, from the great studios of Italy. In calling attention to the above sale, the Auc tioneer can confidently assert, that New Zealand connoisseurs have never had so favorable an opportunity of obtaining articles of taste, elegance, and utility.
