CANTERBURY GENERAL LABORERS.

The Canterbury General Laborers' Union is calling for nominations for a general secretary. Nominations are to be sent into Mr. F. Ellis, who has been appointed returning officer to conduct the election. Candidates must bo financial members of the General Laborers' Union, and can only be nominated by financial members of that body. Nominations must also carry the consent of the candidate, and must be in the hands of the returning officer by December 24.
