TROUBLE WITH WATERSIDE WORKERS.

TIMARU, Nov. 29

Trouble with the waterside workers (Federationist) is again threatened, concerning two railway men employed on the wharves —a crane driver and. a tally clerk —ov.er whom a temporary strike occurred some time ago. This ended by the two men joining the union. They have since given notice of withdrawal, and unionists state they will not work any vessel at which these men are employed after the termination of their notice of withdrawal.

A statement is current that an endeavor is to be made to form an arbitratiouist union among watersiders.— Press Association.
