As we go to press we are notified that the Timaru Watefsiders are on strike.

WELLINGTON SOCIALISTS.

E. J. Howard ably lectured in Wellington last Sunday tinder the auspices of the Socialist Party.

Next Sunday night in the Empress Theatre Mrs. Cunnington, of Ohristchurch, will lecture on "The Seed of Socialism." Mrs. Cunnington is a capable speaker, writer and organiser. The theatre should be filled.
