Ngakawau P.R.U.
SOCIAL AND ADDRESS
The Passive Resistors' Union of Ngakawau held their first social on Saturday night, October 26, when a large number were present. The boys have'to be complimented on the able way they carried out this function. No doubt the movement received a great impetus and it is expected the men and women of Ngakawau will take a greater interest in this movement and so assist the boys in their fight for freedom and justice. Mr. Tom Ross ably officiated as M.C., while the music was supplied by Mr. and Mrs. Crase. A few of tho ladies kindly assisted in preparing tho good things. During ten Mr. Alexander said a few words regarding the P.R.U. movement, and asked those present to take a greater interest in the organisation and so brio to wine off the statute book this outrageous Act. A really enjoyable. evening was solvit, and the boys intend to shortly hold another social and c-o keep the cause before tha people.— HECTOR,
