DUNEDIN INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.

OPENS ON NOVEMBER 22. The above exhibition has been promoted by tho Otago Trados and Labor Council, and will be held in the Brydone, Fuller's and Victoria Halls, commencing Friday, November 22. To give some idea as to the size of the exhibition, it may be stated that the floor space taken up by the exhibitors runs into about 32,000 square fee', besides which the Entertainment Hall will seat some GOO people. Commodious and artistically decorated tea rooms are, to be provided. It is confidently anticipated thai' the exhibition will prove one of the most successful undertakings that has been promoted in Otago for many years. Many of the exhibits occupy some, 500 square feet, and no expense is being spared not only to display ihe finest workmanship, but also in making each exhibit command attention from a spectacular point of view. The young people are invited to send in their best productions in writing, drawing, designing, woodwork, needlework, etc., and as some 600 entries have already been received there will be keen competition for the various prizes. The exhibition has been promoted with the object of fostering local industries, and has met with a ready response.
