VOLIVA TO RUN "MOVIES."

ZION CITY SHOCKED

Horror of horrors 1 Zion City is to have two moving picture shows—and one of them is to be established by Wilbur Glenn Voliva, Dowie's successor, foe to tobacco and enemy of all vices of Babylonian Chicago.

It never would do to have only one moving picture theatre in Zion City, for there aro two factions to be amused —the Volivaites and the independents'. Therefore, when Voliva heard that the independents had stolen a march on him by erecting a "movie," he decided to light "evil with evil" and "movie with movie."

When the overseer made the announcement to his followers, some of them nearly fell off their seats. Voliva can do no sin, however, and Voliva is going to run a moving picture show.

When Voliva first announced that he threatened to swoop down upon his multitude with a real live, up-to-date showing of films, his words were not heard aright and a stampede of his followers was narrowly averted. But when he explained that he had to fight "evil with evil,".not a voice was raised in objection and everyone chimed in accord with the innovation of worship.

"The independents have started a moving picture show right here in our own land," shouted Voliva, referring to the toba/wo smokers, with whom he has waged war for the past six months. "But they shall not get ahead of us. Wo will them with their own weapons. We will go them one better. If they present an attraction that draws a group of citizens, we'll give a show that will bring a crowd.—Chicago "Evening World."
