COURT AND REEFTON.

We are informed that at the Arbitration Court on the 23rd. inst. in Wellington the appointment of an arbitrator in the Reefton dispute was discussed. The court refused to hear any more motions, and asked, Mr. P. J. O'Regan if an arbiter were appointed and an award given, would the union r.bidc by the decision. Mr. O'Regan said he could not guarantee that. Thecourt then decided to discuss the matter after the decision in the Supreme Court at Greymouth, on the appeal of the company from the Warden's dec- :- sion.—'inangahua Times."
