A TRIBUTE.
Sir, —Ihave to congratulate you on the improved appearance of The Worker. It is the "meatiest" and most satisfying Labor paper I hare yet cofaie across, and it alone is responsible for my conversion from a respectable, "sane," Trades Council unionist to a firm believer in the principles of industrial unionism. Your reviews are also of a high order. Whilst I don't agree in totowith the Federation's tactics, I am bound to admit that in its constitution lies the only hope of the workers. The Gisborn© Laborers' Union, of which I am secretary, has recently seceded from the Trades Council, and I intend to ask the Union to devote the money that it formerly paid in capitation to that body to subscribing to The Worker. With best wishes. — Gisborne. A. H. ANDERSON. [Thanks heartily. Alas, that book reviews can only be casual in this strenuous land.—Ed.]
