NOTICE TO WRITERS.

For tlm time being we find ourselves compelled to hold over letters and general contributions. Thoae who send "copy" to ns must understand that it is impossible to advise upon and immediately return manuscript submitted. The publication of correspondence or general contributions is determined by events. Space, duties, pressure in office, and other circumstances require that we must choose our own timo for considering or publishing articles and letters — and if some do not appear it must be taken that they are unsuitable or unusable. We arc, not able to wy offhand whether or not anything sent for publication will appear. Just now the stuff wanted is brief news and views from localities as to strike, lock-out, the federation and its foes.
