GAS STOKERS' DEMANDS.
The Wellington Cas Stoker./ Union of Employees has fanvardel to the Gas Company a fresh set of demands, the old award having expired. Tho demands include Is. per shift increase- on the present rate of pay; extension of tho present holiday leave on full pay; and other alterations in the working conditions. The union h.'s also asked for a conference with the company, which, it is understood, the management will accord at an early date.
