AGREEMENTS.
Sir,—Ono thing that has struck mo forcibly i 3 the Federation of Labor's methods regarding agreements. In my opinion, if the federation is to succeed, this "To hell with agreements" policy will havo to bo abandoned. 1 believo that agreements should bo strictly binding, especially at this particular period, when Industrial Unionism is on its trial, so to speak._ I hold, too, that twelve months' duration is altogether too short. Three years is quite short enough for the operation of any agreement, I should think. —Yours, etc., Waihi. A MINER.
