CHINA'S REVOLUTIONARY HYMN.

This hymn was sung at the ceremony proclaiming the Chinese Republic, in the city of Tuiig-Chvvaiig, West China: Success to China's laud, Now, Lord, her sons defend, Four hundred millions, here they stand ; Give peace, Lord, without end. Chorus: Children of distant West, For China now we pray. .Send forth thy power, 0 spirit blest, Renew her day by day. Success to China's land The flag with joy unrolled Binds all in love, a joyous band, As in the days of old. Success to China's land, Each fertile province o'er. May Truth and Justice aye expand, And Wisdom, as of yore. Success to China's land ; Still may her power increase, In wise, harmonious order planned, And blest with lasting peace.
