An enormous demonstration was recently held in Paris at the Salle Wagram in favor of international peace, especially between France and Germany. "Let the ruling classes take care," said Scheidemann. "In putting theif last card on a European war they may bring about the universal revolution." Juarez followed, and finally Dubreii- l--ilh proposed that a word of greeting be sent to one who has suffered; much iv t'ho struggle for international peace— Gustavo Herre. This was carried with enthusiasm, and the meeting closed with cheers for Horve and Intornational Socialism.
