PUBLIC MEETING.
A public meeting under the auspices of the N.Z.F.L. was held in the Opera House, Wellington, on Sunday last, and was largely attended. Mr. J. Roberts presided. About 40 delegates were seated on the platform. Addresses upon "Tbe Message of Industrial Unionism" wre delivered by P. C. Webb, K. J. Howard, M. J. Savage, J. Eraser, J. P. King, and R. Scmple. Tito message each speaker bad 1o deliver was remarkably well received. On Sunday afternoon a well-attend-ed meeting was held in tbe. Post. Office Soitaro. Delegates Howard, Gould, Caiihain and UuiK-an delivered stirring address"* upon Industrial Unionism and Socialism. F. Freeman, Wellington, acted as chairman.
