Somo time ago considerable friction arose on the Grcymouth wharf between tho Wharf Laborers Union and a shipping foreman named Blanche. So ucutc did tho position become that the men absolutely refused to work under tho direction of tho, to them, objectionablo official. Acting on the pressure brought to bear upon it, the company romoved Blanche troui the position he occupied. Blanche then instituted proceedings against tho Union for £300 for loss of occupation. Judgment was given in favor of the plaintiff for £75 with oosts on the lowest scalo.
