Tom Keen©, of Waihi, who called at this offioe on his return from Sydney last week, reports that Semple is meeting with great success among th© Australian colliers. At Lithgow the unionists instructed their officers to sign th« agreement submitted by Semple, and from his own observations, he did nol anticipate that the Newcastle men would place any obstacle in tho way ot falling into line.
