ANTI-MILITARIST COUNCIL.
Last week Messrs. Mackie (national organiser) and Cooke, representing tho Anti-Militarist Council, arrived in Wellington for the purpose of discussing matters with prominent anti-militar-ists and with them to interview the authorities in connection with the Conr scripion Act. Although we are unahlo to announce the result of tho mission, we understand that it is likely that satisfactory amendments will bo introduced at an. early date.
